Saddle up, y’all! It’s tyme! Celebrate the 28th annual Liz Cook Texas Super Ryde & Rodeo, featuring live DJs, trail rides, vendors, fabulous food, live Zydeco bands, dancing, and of course, rodeo!

They are a decades-long tradition rooted in the forgotten history of black cowboys in the American West, and they have been growing increasingly popular in the Deep South and across the United States. Whether you be a cowpoke or a spectator on the sidelines, this weekend guarantees miles and miles of fun for one and all!
The rodeo portion goes down at Wharton County Fairgrounds with events like breakaways, tiedowns, barrel racing, team roping, and more, with buckles given to winners of each event and $2,500 cash prizes. Gates open at 10am, kids 12 and under free.
Check out the Friday night Midnight Trail Ride and the Saturday afternoon ride at 4pm. Plus, music! DJ Hou on the Party Wagon All Weekend, DJ Nolan in the VIP & Rest Stop. Also: DJ Smoove, DJ, Jace, DJ T-Redd, DJ Funanny, DJ Jammin J All Weekend, and Houston Zydeco all weekend long!
