Hibiscus Festival of Punta Gorda
Punta Gorda’s Hibiscus Festival is back and bloomin’ better than ever!
Come celebrate the Florida town that is historically known as the City of Hibiscus. This three-day, one-of-a-kind fest was the vision of a small group of colorful, fun-loving locals who wished to share the unique history and character of their town and its connection to one of the world’s most renowned hibiscus hybridizers, Harry R. Goulding. So they hosted the first Hibiscus Festival in 2004.
Come sample the delights from local sweet and savory food purveyors, dig the live music (on two stages all three days), cheer on Li’l Hibiscus Princess, admire and shop for flowers, plants, and arts & crafts, but most of all, have fun!
The festival will kick off with a Friday evening concert under the stars. Feel free to bring a chair or blanket. Come back Saturday and Sunday to do it all again!
