Cruisin’ the Coast
Start your engines for America’s longest block party: the annual 30-mile-long Cruisin’ the Coast!
Imagine a line of rolling cruisers, jalopies, whips, rides, speedsters, burners, guzzlers, love bugs, money pits, hoopties, bangers, woodies, shag shacks, babe magnets, classics, crates, customs, midlife crises, and maybe even a ginormous motorized shopping cart – as long as the eye can see, with the backdrop of the shining Mississippi coastline!
Thousands of classic cars converge on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for an entire week of rock & roll, drag races, sock hops, swap meets, and headline entertainment all along the Gulf. Car enthusiasts parade their antique, classic, hot rods, and custom vehicles up and down the 30-mile stretch of beach-side Highway 90 with entertainment provided at designated stops in Bay St. Louis, Biloxi, D’Iberville, Gautier, Gulfport, Long Beach, Moss Point, Gautier, Ocean Springs, and Pascagoula. Since its inception in 1996, Cruisin’ the Coast has grown from 374 cars to over 8,000 annually.
