Texas SandFest 2023 in Port A

“Sculpting Coastal Memories” is the tagline for the annual Texas Sandfest, held every spring in Port Aransas, Texas on Mustang Island. A little about Texas SandFest: It’s the largest native-sand sculpture competition in the US. It started as a small local competition in 1997, and today, is internationally recognized, drawing tens of thousands each year to Port Aransas.

In addition to the amazing sand sculptures, there’s food, live music, kids’ activities, vendors offering arts & crafts, apparel, jewelry, furniture, souvenirs, and more. And it’s all to raise funds for local charities and scholarships for high school students.
