Tall Ships Challenge – Gulf Coast 2023 Series

The Tall Ships Challenge® Gulf Coast Series sails this spring to three Gulf Coast ports: St. Pete (Mar 30 – Apr 2), Galveston (Apr 13 – 16), and Pensacola (Apr 27-30). The ships race across the Gulf of Mexico in a month-long regatta.
Each port will host a family-friendly, all ages festival featuring music, food, street performers, festival marketplace, gorgeous waterfront views, and more. Many of the visiting ships will also offer special sail away experiences during their stay. These opportunities put you onboard the vessel and out in the Gulf of Mexico, where guests may interact with the crew and see first-hand how these incredible ships operate in the water. Spaces are limited!
Founded in 1973, Tall Ships America is a non-profit organization commended by Congress as The National Sail Training Organization representing the United States. The organization supports and promotes the ships, people, and programs of sail training and the tall ships through relationships with government and regulatory agencies, advocacy, professional development, and training, the Annual Conference on Sail Training and Tall Ships, the TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® Series of races and events, scholarships and grants, and the biannual publication of Sail Tall Ships!, the world’s definitive directory of sail training.
