Slidell Heritage Festival
The 26th annual Slidell Heritage Festival returns this summer to Heritage Park on Saturday, July 1. This celebration of America’s birthday features an evening of great food, fireworks, and live music with Soul Revival, Amanda Shaw, and Zebra.
Food trucks will be on site, and beverages will be available for purchase. This year the festival will consist of music, food, arts & crafts, a children’s area with water slides and face painting, and the big fireworks show at 9pm.
Presented by the Rotary Clubs of Slidell, in conjunction with the City of Slidell, the festival was established as a fundraising benefit, and over the past 24 years, more than $1,000,000 has been raised for local charities. This year’s recipients are: Slidell Church Basketball League, Good Samaritan Ministry, Hospice House, Boy Scouts of America (Cypress District) and the Slidell Police Association.
