Sea to Screen Film Festival
Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies celebrates World Oceans Day through film with the Sea to Screen Film Festival.
Sea to Screen happens at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Corpus Christi. This year’s selection of 12 family-friendly films will feature the world’s fisheries and the marine habitats, and people, that are vital to supporting them. In addition to the films, those in attendance may visit with other conservation organizations including the Texas State Aquarium, Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program, Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve & Learning Center, Mission Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve, and more.
In true Alamo Drafthouse fashion, before the films and during intermission, attendees will have a chance to play along with some Gulf of Mexico trivia and get a taste of the lighter side of science through social media short films.
