Purple Takeover New Orleans 2022

Time to dig out those purple togs, ya dig? DJ Soul Sister, Euclid Records NOLA, and Virgin Hotels New Orleans, proudly announce the return of the Prince Birthday Weekend Celebration, the 5-day Purple Takeover New Orleans 2022.

It all begins Friday with screening of Sign O’ the Times at both Prytania Theatre locations, the Saturday Purple Takeover proper with a night of DJ Soul Sister at Tipitina’s to benefit One Book New Orleans, then a variety of events and themes at the Virgin Hotels New Orleans, Commons Club, featuring Lefty Parker on Sunday and Hellen Gillet on Monday, then Prince Day, Prince’s actual birthday on Tuesday, hosted by the incomparable DJ Soul Sister.
