Oak Street Po-Boy Festival
Loosen your belts, and put on your bibs: It’s high time for the Oak Street Po-Boy Festival!
The humble po-boy is as Gulf Coast and god-bless-American as Key Lime Pie. And this fest is a day-long testament. It all goes down on Oak Street in the Carrollton neighborhood. The festival is free, but wristbands are required to purchase a po-boy.
Do your research before you go: There are 40+ po-boy and refreshment vendors to try! There’s a vendor market, kid’s zone, and of courses, the opening parade! Don’t miss the Po-Boy Competition juried by celebrity judges and the Saints Game watching zone!
The soundtrack to your crave-a-thon will emanate from six stages. Look forward to great live music sets by Mia Borders, Yano Trio, Shantytown Underground, Dem Roots, Jason Ricci & the Bad Kind, Sari Jordan, the PoBoyFest Brass Band, and many more.
You better believe that every note and every bite is pure, 100% New Orleans joy! The annual Oak Street Poboy Festival is presented by Tony Chacherie’s and benefits the Son of a Saint organization.
#ComeDressed and pass a good time, y’all!
