New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane

The New Orleans Book Festival is a free and open festival with an incredible line-up of A-List guests and presenters. One might say “star-studded.”

This year’s line-up includes:
• CBS anchor and former New Orleans first lady Michelle Miller
• BET Co-Founder and US/Gulf Coast resort maven Sheila Johnson
• Former NOLA Mayor and Louisiana Lt. Governor Mitch Landrieu
• Former Minority Leader in the Georgia House Stacey Abrams
Retired US Army General David H. Petraeus
• Pulitzer Prize-winner, NYT columnist Maureen Dowd
• Maverick former US House Rep Liz Cheney
• NYT White House correspondent Maggie Haberman
PBS historical documentarist Ken Burns
• Soul Queen of New Orleans Irma Thomas
• Celeb PBS show host Chef Kevin Belton
• Godmother of Bounce Big Freedia
…and so many more – for free.

Held on Tulane’s uptown campus, the New Orleans Book Festival aims to support and nurture a literary community by connecting readers of all ages and backgrounds with local and national authors through experiences that celebrate the power of literacy and ideas.

The fest happens on Tulane’s uptown campus and will showcase over 100+ national, regional and local authors, as well as numerous literary exhibitors. The festival will also feature children’s and family programming.
