King Ranch: A Legacy in Art, Paintings by Noe Perez

King Ranch: A Legacy in Art, Paintings by Noe Perez

Celebrate 100 years of South Texas History with the visually stunning King Ranch paintings by Noe Perez.

Noe Perez, the artist is a south Texas native, born in Falfurrias, Texas, now living and working in Corpus Christi. He is considered by many to be one of the most foremost contemporary landscape painters of Texas. His work in this project was commissioned by the King Ranch to celebrate the 100 Year Anniversary of its historic main house.

Covering 825,000 acres in the Coastal Plain and Brush Country of South Texas and established in 1853, King Ranch looms large in Texas and American history and perhaps even larger in the imagination. Since its founding by the energetic and visionary Richard King, it has indelibly captured for generations the essence of the American West.

The paintings are stunning in their beauty and inspired in their artistic response. They bring history alive and offer a unique appreciation of the natural beauty and artistic influence of this legendary place. An accompanying book authored by Perez includes essays and historical information to gain an understanding of the importance of the King Ranch.
