King Cake Connection at SOFAB
Have you been to King Cake Connection this Carnival season? The amazing Mardi Gras pop-up at the Southern Food & Beverage Museum presented by the fine folk at Where Black NOLA Eats has been bringing some of the best products on the market to celebrate and fill your belly with carnival-season goodness.
If you’ve even visited New Orleans craving King Cake during Mardi Gras season, you know the selection can be overwhelming. This curated pop-up is a fabulous way to sample and choose some great treats! The added bonus is that the selection highlights black baking entrepreneurs and gives them their due (and some new loyal customers!).
The season has flown by. For the remainder of Mardi Gras, the pop-up opens at 11am but may close as early as 3 or 4pm due to parade-time street closures. Make some time and get over to KKC at SOFAB! Choose from a variety of traditional and filled king cakes and other Mardi Gras-themed treats and merch!
