Horn Island Cleanup

The Mississippi Coastal Cleanup Team wants you!

Meet at Point Cadet Marina, behind Golden Nugget Casino for a wonderful day of camaraderie, common goals, and coastal stewardship! Transportation to the island will be provided by charter-for-hire boat captains. Boats will depart promptly at 9am. All volunteers must be on board at 9am.

Volunteers are also welcome to meet directly at the cleanup site. Please indicate this when prompted in the registration form so that organizers may provide the coordinates of the cleanup location.

What to expect:
• This is a physically intensive event, please drink lots of water and eat healthy meals beforehand
• There are no facilities on the island: Please use the restroom before getting on the boat
• The boat ride is approximately 45 mins
• Cleanup supplies and water will be provided by the event staff
• BYO (bring your own): refillable water bottle, closed toe shoes, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sun screen), snacks, and any necessary and/or emergency medications
