Gulfport Gecko Fest

It’s Gecko Time! Join the good folks of Gulfport, FL to celebrate the end of summer with its largest festival of the year, honoring the waterfront village’s unofficial mascot and favorite reptile, the Gecko!

Each year, the month of festivities presents a unique theme, and 2024 is no different! The year’s Gecko World theme is “Live From Gulfport, It’s Gecko Night!” Guests are encouraged to get into the spirit and join the fun with fave SNL character or Gecko costumes (or both), décor, and more!

Geckofest is preceded each year by the Gecko Art Show, Gecko Crawl, and Gecko Ball. All events are hosted by the non-profit Gulfport Merchants Chamber of Commerce. A portion of proceeds from all Gecko World events benefit local charities each year. Parking and admission to GeckoFest is complimentary, and the event is pet and family-friendly.
