Giant Omelette Celebration

The Confrerie D’ Abbeville welcomes you to Abbeville’s “5,000 EGG” Giant Omelette 39th Annual Celebration!

This family-oriented celebration kicks off Saturday morning in Historic Downtown Abbeville and is like no other. Set against majestic oaks, and an old-fashioned gazebo, and a kids world, this food fest is also a 2-day Arts & Craft show where guests may stop and dance to some of Louisiana’s best music.

Antique farm implements provide a challenge to those competing in Saturday’s egg-cracking contest. The fun continues on Sunday with the addition of the antique cars on display, along with more music guaranteed to get you dancing. Grab your seat early for the procession of chefs, eggs, and bread to the Giant 12-foot skillet where fun and folly are the order of the day for those preparing the “5000 Egg” Giant Omelette.
