Earth Day on Summerland Key

You’ve heard about the first-of-its-kind mangrove nursery in the Florida Keys, and now you get to be a part of the action!

Coastlove and the Plant A Million Coral Foundation are excited to invite the community to Summerland Farms this Earth Day weekend to celebrate. Come out for a day of music, refreshments, fun educational activities, and tours of the mangrove and coral nurseries.

Oh yeah, you will get the chance to plant baby mangroves! Friendly folks from the Monroe County Fire Dept. will join in with their famous snow cones! Water and cold drinks will be provided. Remember to bring reusable bottles!

This is a free public event, and all are welcome.
