Corpus Christi Greek Festival

Experience the vibrant spirit of Greece right here in the Coastal Bend, South Texas. Enjoy a weekend full of traditional Greek culture, music, dancing, and mouth-watering cuisine. Oh, and pastry!

In 1963, the ladies of the St. Nicholas church began a small annual pastry sale. Over the past 60+ years, this tradition grew into Corpus Christi’s biggest and most popular outdoor party, the annual Greek Festival.

The first weekend each November, the folks at St. Nicholas serve over 10,000 satisfied guests a variety of Greek meals, dishes, desserts, wines, and beer. It’s all heightened with a traditional Greek folk band and Greek dancing on an outdoor stage, and a market and bazaar. This vendor fair features Greek and Middle Eastern items, including religious goods, clothing, and souvenirs.

The festival is no longer simply a fundraiser for the church; it allows the families of St. Nicholas parish to show hospitality to all our Coastal Bend friends and neighbors, and to contribute to the beautiful tapestry that is South Texas’s diverse culture.
