Buc Days 2022
“Buc” stands for Buccaneers, buckin’ broncos, and yes, even a dollar night, with opening night gate tix for only one buck!
For the better part of the last century, Corpus Christi has held their multi-day Buccaneer Days community festival on the city’s sparkling bayfront. Modern day Buc Days has evolved into many things to many people: a rodeo, a carnival, a BBQ competition, a market, a robotics rodeo, a series of live music concerts, a night parade, a kids parade, pirate shows, livestock shows and competitions (racing pigs!), a golf tourney, a skeet shooting contest, and a royal court. Whew!
This year’s Las Donãs de la Corte is themed The Court of Resplendent Nature. The festivities kick-off on May 5 with live music: Celebración Buc Days Cinco de Mayo, featuring Latin Grammy Award Winner Elida Reyna y Avante and Tejano music award winner Lucky Joe on opening night.
