Babes on the Bay 2023

Run by the volunteers of the Aransas Bay Chapter of the CCA, Babes on the Bay is typically held the weekend after Mother’s Day every year. This is the largest one-day all-women’s fishing tournament in the USA and includes Non-Guided, Guided, Fly & even Babette Divisions for the young anglers.

The catch-&-release tournament was created to help educate women about the sport of saltwater fishing in a conservation-minded approach – aka “keep only the fish you need.”

Women from across the State of Texas come together to enjoy a fun-filled weekend with live bands, vendor booths, educational outreach by Texas Parks & Wildlife, and other conservation-minded organizations. Participant each receive a CCA Texas membership as part of their entry.
