Alligator Festival

It’s time for the annual Alligator Festival at the Westbank Bridge Park in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana!

Come enjoy live alligators, carnival rides, Cajun cuisine, delicious alligator dishes, craft booths, live bands, and more. The musical line-up includes: Will Dempsey, Yeah You Right, Thomas Cain, St. Charles UMC Band, Tommy G & Stormy Weather, Dwayne Dopsie, the Chee-Weez, the MoJoes, Ryan Foret & Foret Tradition, and Bag of Donuts.

The Alligator Festival is hosted by the local Rotary Club to fundraise for college scholarships. Hosted every last full weekend in September, the first festival took place in 1980. In 2000, the fest moved to West Bank Bridge Park.

“See-you later alligator” is not in the vocabulary of the fans of this one-of-a-kind festival. Come partake in the largest festival in St. Charles Parish. You may even get the chance to pet a live alligator!
