Tom Petty Weekend

In 2017, two weeks after the passing of Tom Petty a group of fans and community members in Gainesville, came together to pay tribute to Gainesville’s native son. Over 2,500 fans flocked to Heartwood Soundstage to celebrate Tom’s birthday and the music of Heartbreakers.

Tom Petty Weekend is a 2-day cultural festival honoring the music of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers through storytelling and song. Fans all over the world come to celebrate Tom, but there is something extra special about doing it in the place where he grew up.

Originally scheduled for mid-October, Tom Petty Weekend was moved to November due to Hurricane Milton. All tickets roll forward and will be honored.
