Come celebrate the world’s most sensational citrus with a bountiful array of family-friendly festivities across the island where Key lime pie was conceived. To kick things off, lovers of the lime may indulge in a full menu of activities, from an event kick-off cookbook signing and champagne reception with festival co-founder and Key West Key Lime Pie Cookbook author David Sloan, where you can sip cocktails on the veranda of the 1869 mansion where Key Lime Pie was first created!
Then, over five days, delight in delicious Key lime-centric dinner and brunch events; a scavenger hunt, 4th of July 5K & Fireworks, Key Lime tree cultivating, a wild and world famous Key lime pie eating contest; a gravity-defying Key lime pie drop competition – from the top of the Key West Lighthouse; a Key lime pie hop, pies to face, a bar Sip & Stroll to sample limey libations, a Key lime rum tasting, mini pie class, vendor village, live music, and so much more!
