Celebrities! Workshops! Screenings! Awards! The South Texas International Film Festival is the preeminent film gathering in South Texas, based in Edinburg in the Rio Grande Valley.

This selective film festival strives to connect regional filmmakers while showcasing the works of visionary filmmakers from all over the world. The festival consists of a 4-day program of full-length, regional, short film competitions, screenings, panel discussions, educational workshops, industry mixers, and networking events.

This year, in addition to the numerous Texas films, Student Day, docs, shorts, the red carpet, workshops, awards, and parties, there will be a timely and informative SAG-AFTRA Panel.

Some of the celebs in attendance for 2023: Valente Rodriguez, Lou Diamond Phillips, Carlos Gallardo, John Caglione, Jr., Jane Austin, and Michael Gregory.
