Slidell Heritage Festival
It’s time again for the annual Slidell Heritage Festival at Heritage Park. Don’t miss this celebration of America’s birthday featuring an evening of great food, fireworks, and live music with the legendary Rockin’ Dopsie Jr & the Zydeco Twisters and The Voice finalist and Northshore homegal Karen Waldrup.
Food trucks will be on site, and beverages will be available for purchase. This year’s fest will deliver the best in music, food, arts & crafts, a children’s area with water slides and face painting, and the big fireworks show at 9pm.
Presented by the Rotary Clubs of Slidell, in conjunction with the City of Slidell, the festival was established as a fundraising benefit, and over the past 24 years, more than $1,000,000 has been raised for local charities.
