Shorty Gras & Krewe of Freret Parade 2023

The ball costs bucks but the parade is free to see! The Krewe of Freret and Trombone Shorty continue their tradition and parade starting at Tipitina’s, through Uptown, the Garden District, the CBD, with a brief stop at Gallier Hall to say Hi to the Mayor, then to Canal on magical floats with the best marching bands and performers in town. The procession culminates at Mardi Gras World, in the wonderous ‘Shorty Gras’ – a Mardi Gras Ball and music festival combined into one spectacular event.

2023 artists include: Flo Rida, Cha Wa, Rebirth Brass Band, Flow Tribe, Khris Royal, Hot Boy Ronald, and Special Guest, Trombone Shorty.
