Sea Turtle Release at Tony Amos Beach
Come on down to Marker 35 as the Amos Rehabilitation Keep (ARK) at University of Texas Marine Science Institute performs a joint effort with SEA LIFE Aquarium to release five juvenile Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtles. These guys came from New England when they were found cold-stunned last winter, began their rehabilitation with Sea Life Aquarium and completed their rehabilitation with us. Now they’re ready to go back to the wild!
