Are you ready? It’s Rodeo Time in the RGV!
Come celebrate the 85th anniversary of the the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show & Agriculural Exposition! All rodeos will be nationally televised on the Cowboy/Cowgirl Networks.
It’s five action-packed days of PRCA Xtreme Bull Riding, PRCA Rodeo, and the biggest carnival in the RGV, with concerts every night, food, shopping, entertainment acts, and so much more! Live music acts include: the Doo Wah Riders, Marcos Orozco, Spazzmatics, “Red” Tribute to Taylor Swift, Ram Herrera, and more!
The first Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show and Agriculural Exposition was held in 1940 on the grounds of a local livestock sales yard with make-shift pens and lean-to sheds. Boy, has it grown! Volunteers from all walks of life give endless hours of their time to make the show a success. Folks from all over Texas know and come to enjoy the parade, rodeos, competitive livestock events, and the many other attractions on the schedule. Come see for yourself!
