Port Isabel Lighthouse Solar Eclipse Viewing

The Port Isabel Lighthouse State Historic Site will offer a unique opportunity to view the historic 2024 Solar Eclipse from the catwalk!

It’s the last total solar eclipse visible from the contiguous United States until 2044! A very limited amount of reservations will be taken for this special event. Cost: $50 per person will include 3-hours worth of access to the Lighthouse during the Solar Eclipse, a swag bag including viewing glasses and other goodies, a snack basket, and an event T-shirt.

While the path of the 2024 total solar eclipse cuts 480 miles through numerous Texas towns and cities, Port Isabel will only experience a partial solar eclipse – still an amazing sight to witness! The grounds around the lighthouse area also will be a-buzz with fellow viewers along the Laguna Madre shore!
