PalmFest & BBQ Masters Throwdown

Head to Port A for the second annual PalmFest and third annual BBQ Master’s Throwdown! Two magical weekends of ridiculously good live music and culinary greatness on the Texas coast. May 5th-6th brings Downtown Music Days, and May 12th-13th presents the third annual BBQ Masters Throwdown. Both weekends will be filled to the brim with music, family activities, vendors, food, drinks, and more!

This family-friendly music and culinary event is the first of its kind on the Texas Coast and spans two weekends. It’s a live music extravaganza and Texas barbecue competition to determine the “Southern Coast Open BBQ Masters Grand Champ,” and award a hefty cash prize purse. All teams will be judged on appearance, aroma, taste, tenderness, and overall impression.

May 5–6 and May 12–13, 2023 in Downtown Port Aransas (between Tarpon St. and Trout St. off Cotter Ave.).
