Nothing To See Here: Krewe of Chewbaccus Parade & Chewbacchanal

The Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus is at it again, presenting their 13th annual parade in devotion to The Sacred Drunken Wookiee. With over 3000 members and over 100 sub-krewes, Chewbacchus will roll in honor of this year’s chosen royalty, long-time krewe member and captain of the Men, Women & Aliens in Black sub-krewe, Elden “Agent EL, He Who Makes This Look Good” Spear.

The theme “Nothing to See Here,” serves as a tongue in cheek nod to the size and spectacle of the ever growing parade of nerds, artists, and weirdos. The parade will again follow its 2023 route, starting at Franklin AV and St. Claude, turning on Elysian Fields and then unto Decatur, where it heads up-river to end at Decatur & Conti.

And after the parade, head to the Chewbaccanal at the Fillmore New Orleans for the hottest Carnival after party in all of Mardi Gras. All Hail the Sacred Drunken Wookie!!!
