National Peanut Fest Parade

Bring a folding chair and watch the pre-parade festivities, featuring the Cement Mixer truck that unloads the Peanuts on the Parade Route. Parade starts near the Civic Center (Downtown) and proceeds westbound on West Main Street (Hwy 84 West) to the South Park Avenue intersection.
The National Peanut Festival is celebrating its 79th year, and this year’s Festival theme is: “Peanuts Galore and So Much More!” Which is what we bet will be in this very parade!
Dothan is known as the “Peanut Capital of the World” and the heart of peanut country for good reason. The majority of all the peanuts grown in the US grow within a 100-mile radius of Dothan!
