Mississippi Natural Hair Expo

Mississippi Natural Hair Expo

The Mississippi Natural Hair Expo (MSNHE) is back with natural hair & beauty education, shopping with a fabulous array of black-owned businesses, and of course, those highly anticipated signature Swag Bags!

Mingle with and support amazing vendors: LAMIK Beauty and founder Kim Roxie will be in the building! Team Hawaiian Silky is back and will offer complimentary natural hair styling, free gifts, samples, and more! Make sure you give them and the other visiting vendors all a proper Mississippi welcome! Hungry? Meatbawl’s Food Truck (oxtail & jerk nachos), Sugar Beans Cafe (tacos & croffles), and Salty Jax Seafood Co. (Maine lobster rolls & bang bang shrimp) will have delicious bites onsite.

CONTEST ALERT: As part of the MSNHE Cares initiative the expo has teamed up with New Orleans Celebrity Barber, The Real Hair Bender for an exciting giveaway! One lucky attendee will win a hairstyle makeover! Bring a new unwrapped toy to the expo to receive a raffle ticket. Winner will be drawn at the expo. You must be present to win. Drawing time will be announced before the event. MSNHE will distribute toys during the Christmas season to children in need.

Mississippi Natural Hair Expo was established in 2015 due to limited natural hair resources in Mississippi. The expo was designed to educate, encourage, inspire, and empower women who seek to wear their hair in its natural state. Whether you are natural, hair-transitioning, thinking of becoming natural, supporting a friend, or want to shop with and support black-owned businesses, come on down!
