Military Mermaids & Free Admission for Vets

To celebrate the contributions and service of vets, Fairgrounds St. Pete is offering free admission for all veterans and active-duty military. Fairgrounds is working with Wounded Warrior Project to welcome members of the Military Mermaids group to the immersive art and technology museum in honor of their service.

The Military Mermaids will be in their full mermaid regalia to enjoy the attraction, share their stories and mission, and take pictures and interact with the public. All are encouraged to attend this powerful event and thank the Military Mermaids for their service.

“The Seashell Queen,” Iona Parris, is a Fairgrounds St. Pete artist, veteran and peer leader for Wounded Warrior Project and will co-host the group with Fairgrounds St. Pete.
