Kid Fish 2024

Children ages 5-12 are invited to try their hand at fishing for rainbow trout stocked by TPWD Inland Fisheries and learn more about fish and the outdoors. TPWD will provide fishing rods for participating kids and the rods will also serve as a take-home gift! Don’t forget to check out the activity area, as well.

Participants fish during 45-minute sessions. The first session starts at 9 am and the last at 2:15pm. Participants will be assigned to a session on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at 8am the day of the event. Participants must be present to sign up.

Meet: Check-in at the front office starting at 8am. The event will be in Whitetail Run and Green Jay Lane day-use areas. Bring: Weather appropriate clothing, water, sun protection.
