History Harvest at House of Rock

Hey, history nerds and Corpus Christi stans: If you’ve ever been to a history center, you know they are amazing portals to understanding the past and putting the present and future into context. Well, how do they get all those amazing items for their archives? People donate them!

Here’s a chance to observe the collection of history in action – while enjoying a free show at House of Rock. The house has partnered with Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and the Downtown Management District for a history harvest.

The Special Collections and Archives at the Mary & Jeff Bell Library collects materials that document Corpus Christi history including personal photos and family records. They will display photos collected in hopes of adding to the history archives. Bring your personal photos and family records to be harvested at House of Rock!
