Gulf Coast Challenge

Football fans: Get ready for a challenge that will undoubtedly be one for the books!

This year’s event follows the success of the previous Gulf Coast Challenge (GCC) match-ups featuring teams from two Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) in a classic-style format. The 2024 game will feature the Jackson State Tigers and the Alabama A&M Bulldogs in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) showdown.

And it’s not just a football game. It’s three days of celebrating HBCU greatness and culture across Mobile, Alabama! Don’t miss the prelim events: The Gospel Explosion, the GCC College & Career Fair, the HBCU Fest Greek Expo, Pep Rally & Concert, the daytime Parade, and the evening Second Line, and so much more!
