Festivals Acadiens et Créoles 2023

Launched in 1974 to keep Cajun culture alive, Festivals Acadiens et Creoles is one of the largest free public events in the state. The fest offers three days of music, dancing, art, culture, and food in South Louisiana.

The fun opens on Friday with the cutting of the boudin at 5pm. Throughout the weekend,dig into: live music on six stages, the Bayou Food Festival, Louisiana Craft Fair, an art exhibit, childrens’ activities, jam sessions, and more. Plus, guests may sign up for the Tour des Atakapas (5K, 10K, Duathlon).

The five music stages have featured some of the biggest names in Cajun, Zydeco, amongst other regional music, with more Savoys, Rileys, Ardoins, Ledets, Broussards, Singletons, and Toups /Road Runners, Troubadors, Bad Boys, Cha Chas, Cane Cutters, Hellraisers, and Playboys than you can shake a boudin at. Then eat.

There will also be a virtual edition of the festival available online via FesTV.
