Festival International De Louisiane

Bon temps, ahead, y’all! Each April, Downtown Lafayette comes alive for a 5-day cultural celebration. Festival International boasts top-notch music from around the world, gourmet food, handcrafted art, jam sessions, street performers, and so much more! People of all ages and all cultural backgrounds come from near and far to experience festival’s magic.

Lafayette, Louisiana transforms into a colorful entertainment mecca with multiple stages throughout downtown. This year’s line-up include international acts, like: Red Baraat (India/U.S.), T’Monde (Louisiana), Son de Madera (Mexico), Donna the Buffalo (New York), Zar Electrik (France/Morocco), Samantha Fish (Louisiana), Etran de L’Aïr (Niger), Soul Express Brass Band (Louisiana), Yallah Yallah (France/Morocco), Yа́gody (Ukraine), Grupo Fantasma (Mexico/U.S.), CJ Chenier & His Red Hot Louisiana Band w/Marcia Ball (Louisiana), Nattali Rize (Jamaica/Australia), Que Beleza! As part of Festival’s mission, this event strengthens the Francophone and international communities’ ties to Lafayette. Attendees can expect to hear great French music from France, Africa, Belgium, Louisiana, and beyond.
