BlackAmericana Fest Presents: Mothers of Americana Gala

Step into an unforgettable evening of soul, artistry, and celebration as BlackAmericana Fest launches with the inaugural Mothers of Americana Gala – a night honoring the powerful legacy and evolving sound of Black women in Americana and roots music.

Experience show-stopping live performances by three powerhouse artists: Charmaine Neville, Lilli Lewis, and Amethyst Starr — each bringing their own depth, storytelling, and unmistakable presence to the stage.

Savor passed bites from two of New Orleans’ most acclaimed culinary creatives—Tanjarine Kitchen, named one of USA Today’s Top 20 Vegan Restaurants in the Southeast, and Chef Dez of The Taylored Chef, a standout favorite at the 2024 festival —serving up bold, soulful dishes rooted in tradition and innovation.

All proceeds from this event support the growth and future of BlackAmericana Fest, a platform dedicated to celebrating and uplifting Black artists in Americana, folk, and roots music.
