Bishop’s Palace New Year’s Open House

On January 1, the Galveston Historical Foundation celebrates the New Year at Bishop’s Palace with free admission. Complimentary champagne will be served.

The Bishop’s Palace New Year’s open house itself is steeped in history: The tradition started in 1893. Every other year the Gresham family would welcome visitors for a New Year’s Day calling.
