Art in the Park in Midtown Houston

Excitement Alert! Midtown Art in the Park will be back under the glorious oaks of Baldwin Park for 2023!

This year’s theme is “Let Art Inspire HOU!” – an homage to the brilliant selection of talent in the space city. Residents and visitors alike can expect an eclectic variety of vendors, artisans and performers, while celebrating the breadth and depth of talent in Houston, which was recently touted as America’s new art city.

ArtJams are back, offering guests free classes complete with supplies for the creative at heart. Novices or crafty pros will have the opportunity to sign up for an Astros- inspired wreath-making session, a graffiti art class, an interactive sip & paint session, as well as prepare for the month ahead at a DIY Mother’s Day piñata-making class.

Also, major improvements have taken place in the park, so this year you can enjoy a Friday night and/or Saturday event. This festival showcases a selection of local artists, musicians, art classes, and culinary arts.

To top it all off, Houston’s best eats will be served by local food trucks.
