Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater

Designated “a vital American cultural ambassador to the world” by U.S. Congressional resolution, Alvin Ailey’s dance company celebrates the uniqueness of the African-American cultural experience.

Each performance by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater culminates in Ailey’s masterwork, Revelations. Seen by over 23 million people around the world, Revelations is the the most experienced contemporary dance work of all time.

For these shows in Houston, the larger of two Ailey touring companies will perform two different programs across four scheduled shows. This appearance is part of the Tudor Family Dance Experiences.
