Abita Springs Push Mow Parade

The Abita Springs Push Mow Parade will roll, stroll, and ride to the theme “Bizarre Broadway Shows!”
The Push Mow Parade is a one-hour procession of funny creativity in the form of push-style lawnmowers, carts, wagons, and bicycles for Mardi Gras fools of all ages. The Krewe of Push Mow was founded by artist and art educator Ann O’Brien and other Abita Springs artists. The organization takes pride in its original themes, humorous floats, marching groups, and costumes. It is produced by the Abita Springs Trailhead Museum and Town of Abita Springs.
Following the parade is a free party in the field across from Town Hall where prizes are awarded for favorite floats and costumes. All viewers are encouraged to costume for this family-friendly parade!
