50th National Shrimp Festival
Come spend four shrimp-filled days on the beautiful, glittering beaches of the Alabama coast!
The Annual National Shrimp Festival is filled with four days of food, art, and music. Two music stages run non-stop on opposite sides of the grounds showcasing local and regional performing acts – some even roam throughout the grounds! Vendors fill the beachside with seafood dishes, paintings, photography, sculptures, homemade crafts, and unique gifts. Festival season also features 5K and 10K runs, a sandcastle contest, and the Miss Shrimp Festival festivities. The best part? Admission into the Shrimp Fest is free.
And you know what they say: “🎶 You’ve got to make the best of life while you’re young! 🎶”
That sentiment comes from 50th National Shrimp Fest Saturday headliners and Alabama Music Hall of Famers, Wet Willie!
A tradition in Coastal Alabama since 1971, the Annual National Shrimp Festival prides itself on being entirely organized and run by a volunteer committee of community leaders, workers, and liaisons.
