How Texas History Influenced Billy Gibbons and Sent ZZ Top to the Top of the Charts
Galveston NOW sent Christine Ruiz Hopkins to interview history specialist Eric Broussard about a special Texas rock & roll exhibit showing at The Bryan Museum in Galveston. The Billy Gibbons Texas History Experience features the ZZ Top founder’s personal gear on display, including his first guitar.
As Broussard explains, the exhibit demonstrates how some of Gibbons’ most famous lyrics directly relate to the history of Texas. The Experience shows through July 3, 2022.
