Valentine’s Dinner at the Country Club

The Country Club New Orleans is not the New Orleans Country Club. For one thing, there is no golf course at the former. For another thing, it has a amazing and legendary drag brunch on both weekend mornings. And a pool. OK, some other country clubs have a pool, but this pool is special, with day and annual passes are available. And this country club is tucked away into a lovely street in the Bywater, in a fabulous old manse.

Crab Meat Beignet – Blue Crab meat & sofrito mascarpone filled beignets with saffron aioli
•  1st Course:
Seafood Gumbo – Louisiana White shrimp, Blue Crab and oysters with Louisiana popcorn rice
•  2nd Course:
Grilled Redfish – Blue crab- blood orange butter, crispy garlic, red beets, and mint-tomato relish
•  3rd Course:
Lemon Profiteroles – Pate Choux puffs stuffed with lemon curd, topped with white chocolate sauce and raspberries
