Tom Petty Weekend

In 2017, two weeks after the passing of Tom Petty a group of fans and community members in Gainesville, came together to pay tribute to Gainesville’s native son. Over 2,500 fans flocked to Heartwood Soundstage to celebrate Tom’s birthday and the music of Heartbreakers.

Tom Petty Weekend is a 3-day music and storytelling festival honoring the music of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers in his hometown.

This year’s headliners include Shovels and Rope, Jake Thistle, and Joe Crookdton along with dozens of regionally and nationally touring acts.
