Texas Plastic Pollution Symposium
The Mission-Aransas Reserve and University of Texas Marine Science Institute present the Texas Plastic Pollution Symposium, an in-person and virtual event. This year includes a one-day research symposium, followed by a boat tour social in the evening. Thanks to grants received by the Nurdle Patrol project from the Matagorda Bay Mitigation Trust and the NOAA Marine Debris Program, the event will be free again this year. It will be a great opportunity to collaborate with other researchers studying plastics and a way for all to connect about the future of plastic research in Texas and beyond. Must register to attend.
