Silent Light Silent Disco With DJ Logic

Silent Light is a campus-wide light festival that transforms WAMA into a illuminated wonderland inspired by nature and the winter solstice. Featuring performers and shadow dancers, installations by Mississippi artists, a silent disco with DJs performing to your personal LED-equipped wireless headphones, and interactive light shows projecting animations of Walter Anderson’s timeless designs.

Music begins at 6pm with a performance by Brooks Hubbert (no headphones needed), choreographed to animated projections. A night of Silent Disco follows, headlined by the one-and-only DJ Logic. As one of the world’s most accomplished turntablists, DJ Logic is widely credited for introducing jazz into the hip–hop realms and is at once a highly-respected session musician, innovative bandleader, and genre-bending wax innovator.
