Shark Run & Shark Adventure Run

The annual Shark Run has a new location: The Wharf in Orange Beach!  There will be categories for both a 5K run and a 5K competitive walk. This a certified course: All finishers for all events will get a finisher’s medal, and both events will have age group awards.

The Shark Adventure Run will be July 4 at Cobalt, located under the Perdido Pass Bridge in Orange Beach. It has been part of the course every year. The new distances are a 2.5-mile Adventure Run (half beach/half road), instead of the old 4.5-mile course. For the traditional one-mile All Beach Adventure run, runners will still wear the flag belts and there will still be “Sharks” chasing participants in both events. All finishers for both events will get a finisher’s medal.

Also carried over from 2021: The Shark Attack Challenge. Register and finish one of the races on both days and receive the first edition Shark Attack medal. Only those who complete a race on both days are eligible.
